Do you want to work on a New Class of Drones? Our product universe spans three different platforms with maximum take-off weights of up to 1000 kg and characteristic dimensions of 8 m: The hexacopter Grille for medical evacuation, the multi-role rotorcraft Wespe for logistics and support operations, as well as the fixed-wing drone Bussard for surveillance and intelligence missions. All systems are powered by RasCore, our highly redundant, military-grade avionics system for safe operations within EASA’s Specific Category. Three aircraft, one mission: to bridge the gap between small UAVs and traditional manned systems.

As IT Specialist for Database & ERP, you will ensure the stability, performance, and integration of our core systems. In this role, you will connect data, processes, and people — shaping our digital infrastructure and supporting our teams with smart, sustainable solutions.
Tasks
- Administration, monitoring, and performance optimization of relational databases (e.g., MS SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- Analysis, modeling, and further development of database schemas
- Design, implementation, and maintenance of ERP modules and customizations
- Integration and interface development between ERP and other systems (e.g., warehouse, CRM, BI)
- Troubleshooting, support, and issue resolution (SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, etc.)
- Participation in ERP implementations, rollouts, or release upgrades
- Data migration and cleansing during system transitions
- Preparation of technical specifications, documentation, and user training materials
- Close collaboration with business departments, developers, and project managers
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in database administration and ERP environments
- Strong SQL skills, experience with stored procedures and performance tuning
- Knowledge of one or more ERP systems (e.g., Sage, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics)
- Experience in ERP customization and/or ERP programming
- Familiarity with interfaces (REST, SOAP, OData) and data integration
- Experience with data migrations and ETL processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to work
- Team player with strong communication skills and customer orientation
- Good command of written and spoken German and English
Desirable skills
- Experience with cloud databases or DBaaS (e.g., Azure SQL, Amazon RDS)
- Knowledge of NoSQL, data warehousing, or BI tools
- Knowledge of SAGE 1000 ERP system
- Experience with agile project methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Certifications in database or ERP fields
